Catalyst Program 

The Catalyst Program is an annual SAP Sponsored project that employees can apply for. They spend time collaborating with different teams,  developing new ideas and ultimately creating an innovative project in a safe and supportive space. My catalyst project centered around creating new marketing assets that focused on our Customer Stories.

One of the greatest tools and opportunities we have as marketers, is to elevate the voices of our biggest cheerleaders: Our customers. 
The most impactful story is one where our current customers can communicate directly about how the SAP Concur ecosystem of products literally make their lives and business better. 
We have so much wonderful customer content available, the challenge is - those stories don’t live in one location or even within one org. The perfect piece of content might be difficult to find when you need it. 

My Catalyst project, partially inspired by the 30 Customers in 30 Days campaign, started by searching for and cataloging all assets related to our Customer Stories. 
Once I had a larger picture of our current assets, I created several types of new resources that highlight how SAP Concur helps our Customers, including 

6 high production video pre-rolls,
a library of over 80 on-brand exec level slides, 
a customer quotes deck and 
a handy Spreadsheet that tracks this new content and each original asset it was made with. 

As a visual storyteller, my job is to connect audiences with executives content in a deliberate, impactful and seamless way. When I create slides, I add human connection into the visuals that usually accompany metrics, KPIs and other data heavy content. 
This is an easy task, as a company we are already so focused on client, partner and customer experience. That dedication to a positive engagement is expressed in our Customer Stories and Case Studies. 

Here's an example of one of the new video resources I created for this project. Through collaboration with the Customer Story team, we identified 6 stories to further elevate by creating new customer fact slides set to a soundtrack.
Each of these videos I created an accompanying Power Point slide deck designed for a presenter to walk the audience through the story as well.

The customer quote deck has over 50 quotes that highlight a wider range of customers, slides can be used individually, as a series or a pre-roll. 

Finally the spreadsheet, it contains an overall list of recent customer stories, what asset types are available, what products are discussed in the story, all with hyperlinks to get you directly to the asset you need! 

My hope with these new resources, in our cost conscious 2021 planning, is that marketers across our org can utilize these assets in several ways. 
Smaller budget events and online meetings can show the looping videos as employees and customers log into a virtual environment. 
Any Employee from Marketers to Sales can grab beautifully formatted slides that simply *shows* success.
These assets have already been adopted by the social team and are currently available on Dynamic Signal.

So, let’s talk next steps, I am expanding my search to gather assets from other orgs and that’s where you come in!
