Fundraising Presentation 

Roanoke Park Counseling is a wonderful organization that help adult survivors of childhood sexual assault victims cope with trauma. Not only is their mission to help both men and women recover they donate a large percentage of their services either discounted or at no cost to those who may need it the most. 

I had the great pleasure of working on a presentation designed and delivered in the hopes of obtaining funds to ensure their free counseling and group programs continue to grow, reaching more people who need these kinds of support services. 

Unfortunately, they didn't win this particular grant, but the presentation was successful in several unexpected ways. Many healthcare providers now know that Roanoke Park is a local resource for their clients who may need specialized treatment in this area. Additionally, they have been asked to speak at several area engagements to raise awareness about the terrible prevalence of childhood sexual assault.
